Enter early to avoid disappointment! We are only accepting 800 enteries for the Half Marathon, and 1050 in the 5km/10km
The Stampede Road Race was thrilled to support numerous charities in 2012. The Stampede Road Race Society has donated over $45,000 to Calgary Charities since our inception in 2009 and we plan to continue to do so in the coming years.
Each participant in the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon will receive a top-quality PUMA Technical shirt, which has a retail value of $65. Men’s and Women’s sizing from Small to X-Large. Participants in the kid's race will receive a cotton shirt as well.
The Stampede Road Race needs many volunteers to make the event successful. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact volunteer@stridesrunning.com.
Race Start Times
- 7:00am Half Marathon Walkers (2:45:00 and longer)
- 7:30am Half Marathon
- 8:00am 10K
- 8:00am 5K
- 10:00am Kids Races (various distances, depending on age)
All races (except Kids Races, which start/finish on Glenmore Track) start at the Tennis bubble,
located ~500m south of the Glenmore Track - please allow at least 10min to walk to the start line. Signs will be posted pointing to the start line.
There will be a limited number of washrooms available at the start line, so please use the ones located at the Glenmore Track (hockey arena washrooms will also be open). A bag check will also be available at the Glenmore Track. Port-a-potties located on 19th street.
All races will finish on the track - stick around for the post-race festivites, including a traditional Stampede Breakfast!
